The site covers approximately 2 acres (equivalent to 65,000 square feet) and previously housed a hospital operated by S:US, functioning as a residential treatment center. The proposed development takes advantage of the new R8-A zoning, made possible by the Jerome Corridor Rezoning. It aims to establish a mixed-use and mixed-income campus, with development occurring in two phases. This project will involve the construction of two buildings, comprising a total of 570 new units designed for supportive and affordable housing. These two structures will be connected by a single-story bridge that serves as a shared amenities space, accommodating common areas and social service offices for residents.
Additionally, the campus will feature 11,500 square feet of publicly accessible open space, a rear yard, and a passive recreation area on the second-floor terrace for the benefit of the residents.
